I Am Not Starting Over.
I Am Starting Again.

I am not chasing a transformation montage. I am getting back to work. Weights. Reluctant cardio. Real conversations about health. This is the unpolished version, documented in real time.

Not a Fitness Influencer

Just a guy over 40, back under the bar.

I have lifted before. I have stopped before. I have restarted before. At 44, after a few health wake-up calls that tend to rearrange priorities, I decided to do it again and document it honestly.

I am not here to give expert advice. I am here to show what it looks like to lift weights, do the cardio I would rather skip, track macros imperfectly, and take health seriously without pretending it is easy.

If you want polished transformation photos, there are plenty of those online. If you want real-time progress, setbacks, and actual life mixed in, you are in the right place.

Notes From the Barbell

This is where the work shows up. Training logs, setbacks, small wins, health conversations, and whatever else comes with doing this again at this stage of life.
